I received extra customer service. I will definitely be using them again in the near near future I would recommend them to anyone needing to clean out their garage or house.
A garage or shed cleanout is the job the 10-yard was built for. It holds about four pickup loads, sits on a normal driveway, and gives you two weeks to work through it a corner at a time instead of in one weekend.
Most single-garage and shed jobs fit a 10-yard. If you're clearing a garage and an attic together, or the garage has heavy stuff like old tile or a workbench, a 15 gives you the room without much more cost.
The dumpster stays 14 days. Fill it as you go, and when it's full, call and we pick it up. You aren't paying by the trip.
Paint, oils, chemicals, batteries, and tires can't go in, which is most of what ends up on a garage shelf. Set those aside for the county household-hazardous drop-off and put everything else in the dumpster.
The people who finish easiest don't try to do it in a day. Sort as you go: one pile to keep, one small pile for the county hazardous drop-off, everything else straight in the dumpster. Do a corner a night or a wall each weekend, and save the shelves for last, that's where the paint and chemicals hide.
Almost nothing, compared to construction debris. Boxes, old furniture, bikes, and yard gear are light, so the 1 ton on a 10-yard usually covers a packed single garage with room to spare. The exception is stacked tile, bricks, or bags of concrete mix on the floor. If you've got those, mention it and we'll plan for the weight.
Order a 10 or 15 online and the dumpster is typically in the driveway before Saturday.
Keep, county drop-off, dumpster. Shelves last, that's where the paint hides.
Full or finished, schedule the pickup and reclaim the garage.
Garage and shed cleanouts are the quickest drops on the schedule, and most of them land close to the yard: Lugoff and Elgin first thing in the morning, the established streets of Lexington and Irmo, and the storm cleanups that follow a bad night of weather anywhere in Columbia. Five minutes from the yard or forty-five, the rental works the same.
A single garage or shed almost always fits the 10-yard, about four pickup loads with a ton of weight included. Add an attic, a basement corner, or a stack of old tile and the 15 buys the extra room without much more cost. Nothing bigger is worth paying for on a garage job.
A garage cleanout runs on the smallest dumpsters we carry, and the price works the same way as every rental: flat, with delivery, pickup, 14 days, and a ton of weight inside it.
Boxes, bikes, and old furniture are light, so a garage job rarely gets near the weight limit. Pull the exact 10 or 15-yard number on the booking page.
Not sure about a load? Ask when you book and we'll settle it before the dumpster arrives.
Flat and heavy on the bottom, boxes and light junk on top, and nothing above the rim so the truck can legally haul it. Sort the shelf chemicals into a county drop-off pile as you go instead of at the end. And load from the back wall forward, so you're not climbing over your own progress by Sunday.

What people ask us before they book. The full FAQ has the rest.
Anywhere a truck goes, a garage cleanout goes. Most land close to the Lugoff yard, but Columbia, Lexington, and the long routes all get the same rental. Full list on the service areas page.
It's the smallest rental we do, priced flat like everything else. The booking page has the 10 and 15-yard numbers, or call (803) 408-9990.
A garage cleanout is usually a weekend job, so book by midweek and the dumpster is typically in the driveway before you start. Delivery runs inside 24 to 48 hours, almost always the first 24.
Same rental, different scale. A garage cleanout usually fits a 10 or 15-yard. Clearing an entire house, an estate, or a rental property fills a lot more than a garage, and the home cleanout page covers how we size those.
A single garage or shed almost always fits a 10-yard. Add an attic or a heavy workbench and the 15 gives you the room.
Wet paint can't. Dried, hardened paint is usually fine. Oils, chemicals, batteries, and tires are out too, and that covers most of what sits on a garage shelf. Set those aside for the county hazardous-waste drop-off.
14 days, same as every rental. Most garage jobs are done in a weekend, so there's no clock pressure. Work through it a corner at a time if you want.
