Plenty of companies won't take concrete and dirt. We do. Heavy material goes in its own dumpster at its own rate, because a normal dumpster hits its weight limit long before it looks full. Tell us it's concrete or dirt when you book and we'll set you up with the right dumpster.
A pickup load of dirt or broken concrete weighs a lot more than a pickup load of household junk. Put it in a big dumpster and you'll hit the weight limit with the dumpster half empty, and pay overage on the rest. A smaller dumpster made for the weight is cheaper and safer to haul.
Concrete, brick, block, stone, dirt, and clean fill. Keep it separate from your other debris so the load stays clean, and we can send it to the right place.
The booking page prices a standard rental. For a concrete or dirt load, call the number and we'll get you the right dumpster and rate. It's a quick conversation.
Tell us the material and rough amount. Heavy loads price by weight, so the quote comes by phone.
Concrete, dirt, brick, block, and stone only. Mixed trash in the load changes where it can go.
The 10-yard is built for the load, and we take it where heavy material has to go.
The company began as dumpsters plus a clearing and grading operation, so dirt and broken concrete have been on our trucks from the first year. Today the heavy loads come off driveway and patio tear-outs in Columbia and Lexington, footing and slab work on the Blythewood builds, and farm and fence-line projects on the county roads around Camden and Lugoff.
Concrete, dirt, brick, and block hit the legal hauling weight long before they fill a big dumpster, so heavy material goes in a 10-yard built for the load. It holds about four pickup loads, and on dense material you'll hit the weight limit before the walls are full.
| Size | Dimensions | Holds | Weight included |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 yard | 12 × 8 × 4 ft | ~4 pickup truck loads | 1 ton |
Heavy material doesn't price on the booking page, it prices on a quick call: tell us the material and the rough amount, and we'll give you the right dumpster and the rate for that weight.
Mixed debris without the heavy material prices online like any standard rental, delivery, pickup, 14 days, and the weight allowance in one flat number.
Not sure about a load? Ask when you book and we'll settle it before the dumpster arrives.
Heavy material goes to a different destination than mixed debris, and that destination takes clean loads. Concrete with trash mixed through it can't go to the concrete facility, and the price changes with the destination. Keep a second pile, or a second dumpster, for the regular junk, and the heavy load prices the way it should.

Highly recommend renting a dumpster and purging your home of all of the excess junk that accumulates over the years. AMC is my go to for this. They are very responsive, reasonable and didn’t charge me for a slightly overweight dumpster.

Prompt delivery and pickup. I have gotten 3 dumpsters from them so far and will continue to use them in the future!!!!! Highly recommend!!
What people ask us before they book. The full FAQ has the rest.
Heavy loads ride the same routes as everything else: Columbia, the Midlands, and out to Sumter, Florence, Aiken, and Greenville. The full service area has the town list.
By weight, quoted on a call: tell us the material and the rough amount and we'll give you the rate at (803) 408-9990. Mixed loads without the heavy material price on the booking page.
Concrete work is usually planned, so most people book the dumpster alongside the demo date. A day or two of notice is plenty, and delivery is guaranteed inside 24 to 48 hours either way.
No, and that's the point of this page. Concrete and dirt hit the weight limit long before the dumpster looks full, so they go in a smaller dumpster at a rate built for the weight. Mixed construction debris without the heavy material goes in a normal construction dumpster.
Less than you'd think, because weight is the limit, not space. A 10-yard handles a patio, a walkway, or a small slab. For a bigger pour, tell us the rough size and we'll figure the loads with you.
Yes, clean heavy material can go together: concrete, dirt, brick, block, and stone. What can't go in with it is regular debris, because a mixed load can't go to the same place.
Yes. Asphalt, brick, block, stone, and clean fill all go in the heavy-material dumpster at the same weight-based rate as concrete and dirt.
