A Day or Two Ahead Is Plenty
People assume a dumpster has to be booked weeks out, the way a contractor does. The schedule is much shorter than that: delivery is guaranteed inside 24 to 48 hours of your order, and nearly every order lands in the first 24. The yard is in Lugoff right off I-20, the trucks are already running Columbia, Camden, Lexington, and Sumter daily, and your delivery slots into a route that already exists.
So the practical rule: book Wednesday or Thursday for a weekend project. Book the day before mobilization for a job start. Booking further ahead is fine too, and for a specific morning it helps, but you don't need lead time measured in weeks.
Same-Week Is Normal, Tomorrow Morning Is a Phone Call
The booking page prices your exact address and takes the order any hour of the day. If the dumpster has to be on site tomorrow morning, before the roofers at 7am, call (803) 408-9990 instead and say so. Zack or Amanda will tell you whether the morning works, and it usually does.
Accurate placement notes help more than anything else. Which side of the driveway, the gate code, and the lot number if the subdivision is new enough that the street signs beat the maps. A driver who doesn't have to call you from the curb delivers earlier.
Your Delivery Rides a Route That Already Runs
Every weekday the trucks leave Lugoff loaded and run loops through the same territory: down I-20 into Columbia and Lexington, up US-1 to Camden, out US-378 to Sumter, with Blythewood, Elgin, and Chapin folded in. Your delivery rides as one more stop on a loop that was already running. That's also why a Florence or Aiken address works on a day-or-two notice even though they're the far edges of the map.
The same loop logic applies to pickups and swaps. When you call for an early pickup, the dumpster usually leaves the next day because a truck was already going to be nearby. So order when the project date firms up, tell us exactly where the dumpster goes, and the delivery side of the schedule takes care of itself.
The Calendar Still Has Hot Spots
A few windows run heavy every year in the Midlands: the weeks after a named storm, the first warm weekends of spring, and the run-up to the holidays when every garage in Lexington gets cleaned at once. The 24-to-48 guarantee holds, but if your project is tied to one of those windows, booking two or three days out instead of one keeps your preferred morning open.
